Dépanneur TeaTowel
If you run out of :
Bacon, Beer, Coffee
Don't fret. If you live in Montréal, that is.
In this city, there’s a dépanneur (corner store) basically within arm’s reach of every single apartment, and they’re always, always open.
From the French verb dépanner, which loosely translates to ‘troubleshoot' or 'help you out' or in my brain, tide you over’, your typical neighbourhood dépanneur carries everything from beer to bacon to bbq chips and even total rando items like soup stock and canned oysters.
So. There’s no need for panic. Just troubleshoot. You gotta hoof it out there in slippers because the bacon is just across the street and an emergency is an emergency.
Now that you understand my undying devotion to the institution of the dep, I present to you these Dépanneur tea towels!
They're soft and surprisingly absorbent, and make a great gift.

Machine wash warm, machine dry or hang to dry
Iron on the highest setting
The ink I use has been wash tested and withstand the true life of a teatowel- they can be washed and dried without hesitation and will last for years. For best results, use a good stain remover but avoid bleach. Bleach breaks down fibres and causes fabric to deteriorate rapidly.
